"FLIGHT BEFORE THE STORM" OIL on Linen 12x16
Years ago I hunted birds, upland and waterfowl. Scenes like this still get me excited and memories of days in the field or a duck blind with my dog are precious too me. While I haven't hunted for many years I still have a reverence for the birds and get a thrill seeing them in their natural habitat. Swamps can be a great place to observe nature.
